We have been here 2 years and I have not taken the kids swimming yet, they are still really young but my oldest is def. ready to learn and probably the middle one too. DH says he knows lots of places, or he did when he was growing up here, but can't remember exact locations ("in jemez kind of near the tunnels" - thanks really helpful, lol.) He works during the week and I would like to go then when it is less crowded, kwim? I am looking for a place to take the kiddos for the day or even for an overnight camping trip.
Where do you all go? And where is your favorite camping spot? We like primative spots, seem to find fewer people there.
