Thanks, Amanda, for getting our June thread started! I hope we all have a very successful month

I read this thread last month and am ready to join in for June. I am kind of "out" of the postpartum period, as my little guy is almost 10 months old, LOL, but I still need to lose 10 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

I was 208 when I delivered our fourth baby in August and my goal weight is 160. I was 171 yesterday morning.

I plan to eat several small meals a day and will start Turbo Jam when I get it from Amazon. I ordered it last week, so it should be here any day now. I am nursing my boy, but he is slowing down as he starts to enjoy table foods.

I think if I stick to an 1800 calorie diet, plus exercise, I should ba able to easily drop a pound a week. I REALLY need support and accountability and am looking for that here.

Thanks for the thread. I am looking forward to being involved.

Hey, I posted at the end of last month's thread that I'm down to 131.8. I even bolded it like you requested!!

Welcome Amanda Williams!
My weight is wrong also, I'm at 143.
I have not exercised at all today, and I ate very poorly on top of that. It seems like the more weight I lose, the more motivation I lose...isn't that crazy? Actually, today was a planned no exercise day, but still!

Congrats on the weight loss!

Amanda, I have a similiar ultimate goal weight but am taking baby steps!

I am down to 221 this morning. it is very slow, but the number is going down! I really want to work out more, DH and I are trying to work on a schedule for that. The problem this week is that DH is feeling under the weather . . . it is always something isn't it?

also just trying to eat better and avoid needless snacking. and trying to eat something for breakfast. I am usually a coffee and water for breakfast person.

Still at the plateau I hit after that initial after birth weight loss. I can't keep up more than about 3 miles a day on the exercise bike. When I do more, I end up not keeping it up all week. I ordered the 30 Day Shred this weekend. It's on its way here. I'm telling myself that it's only 20 minutes long, and surely I can force myself to do that.

The weight's not budging, but I noticed that I am now sufficiently recovered from the c-section to suck in my stomach! Now, if only I could suck in my hips and bum too, I'd be set, ha ha!

I had a great day yesterday, exercise-wise. In fact I'm pretty sore today, which feels good. But then I went and ruined it all by eating Thai food and drinking beers++ Whoops. But it tasted darn good, and I felt less guilty about it because of the good workout. Today is a fairly easy workout day and tomorrow is going to be killer, ugh. Not looking forward to it. I think on Friday if the weather is good DH and Ela and I are going to take a picnic basket to a park near the ocean ^_^

I have to get back on the wagon food-wise, though, because I really need to lose those 5 lbs before the 23rd.

Me too! Well, I have those last 5lbs to lose, and it'd be great if I did so by the end of the month! I usually don't cook much on the weekends, and with monday being a holiday I just couldn't get into the groove of cooking again. Last night, we went out to eat and I had fried oysters on french bread, and corn crab and shrimp bisque...sooo good, but fried and a creamy soup I know are not good for me. Not to mention we ate breakfast out a couple times at a bagel shop nearby. ( I did order whole wheat, though) Soo, I have really been eating poorly. It doesn't help that school is out and I'd much rather hang out at the gym pool with ds than exercise. I've been really having to drag myself to a class lately. I mean, it's only 5 pounds, you'd think it would be easy to stay super motivated and just get it over with, but no, not for me. I've got to lose it, though.

I have been eating 1750 calories for 3 days and I am HUNGRY! Wow, my body just needs to get used (use?) to eating less. I know I am down a few pounds and am much less bloated. I think I'll have an apple with peanut butter for my snack tonight. I'll add my new weight on Monday, I like to only weigh in once a week...

Please change my goal weight to 155 pounds.

I'd like to be added

I'm 5 months postpartum today and I haven't been proactive about toning my body. I keep thinking breastfeeding will be enough, but I still have a big ol' pooch and it's not cute in a bathing suit.

Current weight: 135lbs, Goal: 125 lbs, Total loss -23lbs

I must have broken through some sort of plateau, because I definitely just weighed in at 173 this morning! (and I quadrupile checked!)

Welcome Bobbys!

I think I have gotten everyone changed.

I was 119 this morning! Not to get too excited, no bolding yet, we'll have to see if it sticks.

Congrats, Amanda and AnnieMac! Great losses!

Welcome Bobbys. We call our little one Bunny too. Well, Conejita, to be exact. She turns her head more when we say conejita than when we say her name!

Has anyone else noticed a direct relationship between weight/eating and milk supply? I love seeing the weight come off, but even at a steady 1 lb per week I quickly notice my boobs deflate and I have difficulty getting much when I pump. Then after "overeating" yesterday my boobs are back with vengence and I've got a mini-stash built up in the frige. Of course, I stepped on the scale this morning and definitely was NOT 131 lbs

I just want to find a good balance while LOOSING this weight! And it's not like I'm losing it quickly! I'm lucky to lose a pound a week, I don't get it.

Best wait a few days. I'm having mac and cheese for lunch

Kitteh: yes, i think there is a relationship between how much you eat and how much milk you produce. I haven't noticed as dramatic a change as you have, (but then again, I'm not losing a pound a week either) but I have noticed some correlation.
