i am so surprised by this about myself, but i am NOT good at making and keep a good rhythm at home with my 4yo, 1 yo, and now pregnant. organization, rhythm, and scheduling, in pre-mama life were my strong points. i find these long days with little to no outside structure very challenging, and end up exhausted at the end of the without accomplishing much for myself or the kids. i don't think that is my lack of ability to structure our days, but rather being overwhelmed by trying to fit all of our needs into our days, especially mine, which right now includes a short rest, exercise, and some ways of centering myself. i feel i really need some scheduled, structure mental health time and some tips for centered my mind and soul throughout my day, especially on these hot (no air conditioning), long, pregnant summer days.
