Toddler wants to breastfeed again

So, when I was pregnant/had DD I was really really uninformed about breast feeding. I did it for months but not nearly as long as I wanted [ideally I would have gone 1-2 years breast feeding..] and she doesn't remember really anything about it.

Now I'm pregnant and DD is talking about "trying my breast milk" on a daily basis. Would it be totally weird and psychologically disturbing if I let her try nursing one more time to get it out of her system...or, my other thought is to pump her a sippy cup with breast milk whenever she's asking for it.

My concern is that I don't want to say "NO, this is for Wyatt"

Honestly, I would let her try it out if she still wants to when the time comes, I assume you don't have milk now. Maybe let her try it now and see that there is none there and it will come when the baby comes, if she wants to try it then, why not?

It seems to me that if you make it forbidden it'll be more interesting and enticing. If she tries it and wants to nurse frequently then you can cross that bridge when you come to it. I would sort of expect that if you make it a very open subject and let her try it then it'll be a non-issue

To be honest I don't even mind if she wanted to nurse now and again once DS is here, but my husband thinks that it may regress her or disturb her somehow..I'm tired and having labor pains so I can't quote him, but you can get the general idea

I would also point out that she will likely not know how to latch since you say she doesn't remember having nursed before. If it's uncomfortable or painful for you and she doesn't know what she's doing she may lose interest herself. I would let her try!
