getting stung by a bee?

How big of a deal is this? I am not normally allergic to bees. Just get the normal little bit of swelling and of course it hurts.

I am part of a honey collective and want to go visit my little friends. Normally wearing a suit is not totally necessary, but you are taking the risk of getting stung. I don't think getting swarmed is likely at all.

Are one or two bee stings going to send my body into autoimmune mode? I really have no idea about the risks associated with getting beestings during pregnancy, anybody?

If you haven't previously reacted, I personally wouldn't worry about it. Of course, you want to watch if you do get stung, and even if I wasn't pg, I'd want to wear a suit since I get nervous around bees.
