I mainly just lurk here, but would love to get to know people in FBKS! Hope to see you at Growden on Tues at 3pm. (Might be iffy with Pm nap, but no big deal. If not will catch you next time). I have one ds 19 mos. (not sure if I ever figured out a signature on this board). We just got a wicked hailstorm on our poor little seedlings.. the lettuce looks pretty hammered.... Which one? They're all fab, but Specking is my fave. Have you checked Dimond Greenhouse? They have some REALLY cool flower arrangements - gorgeous combos I've never seen before. Love walking (sniffing!) around in there!

hmmm.. 38 weeks tuesday. My boobs are feeling fuller (like my milk is coming in or something?) Is that weird or what? I don't remember this happening BEFORE babies were born before (except some in the first tri..)

I think Wren may now have the Chicken Pox. Yeah & ugh at the same time. She has a couple of funky looking "bug bites." We'll see if they blister more. She's extra fussy tonight, crying out in sleep. And she's pretty much been asleep since 7 pm, she really sleeps so long.

my little one got the pox at age 4 months. His big brother brought it home from kindergarten.

I would be interested in getting my kids together with some pox kids to keep up there immunity. Those people not exposed to pox throughout their life will have a much higher chance of getting shingles. So sad.

yeah specking was the one.

We are only interested in Vegies at this time. Maybe flowers next year.

Anyone ELSE have a garage sale today? I met a lady off of Strawberry that was selling slings, cloth diapers, etc.. she was babywearing her littlest.. she wasn't any of YOU was she?

Thanks Liza for hosting a great get together! The girls had a good time and I know I enjoyed the adult conversation.

Regarding the garage sale, I think mostly we swapped each other's stuff and donated to the cause!! But it was nice to be outside and empty out some stuff!

Anyone with cpox, please, please PM me or leave a message here (I'm in the Interior). My 14yo and all the kids below her still have not had it!

Garden--with the smoke so bad and the pollen so high, I have been having enough trouble breathing in my room w/ my new HEPA unit going. So we've let all the boxes go to seed this year.

Hope to meet many of you tomorrow at the park!

I was at Sutton's Greenhouse on Sunday (On Tudor near Piper, Anchorage). They had cucumber starts. I really like their store since I have little kids b/c it is fairly small - at least compared to Bells.

seems we still have enough dirt for another garden bed. Is 3 too many?
