Best tolerated beans?

I'm ready to introduce a bean to my 13 month old. Which beans have you Moms found are well tolerated by your food-allergic kids? My doctor suggested black beans. I am also nursing, and currently eating pinto beans.

His allergies are dairy, soy, peanut, nuts, flaxseed, sesame seed, wheat and corn.

are they IgE allergies or intolerances? The joneja chart lists the (IgE) allergenicity of foods.

They're IGE. He has not tested intolerant or allergic to any beans. The Joneja charts lumps all dry beans together, but I'm curious about other mom's experiences.

I am about to try Mung Beans based on the recomendation of a friend who follows an aryuvedic diet and lifestyle. Apparently, they are used to aid in digestion... I have to do more research though. We were ok with beans and then I gave them too often and he developed an intolerance to them. We tried a few Great Northern Beans last week and he seemed ok. I may try the Mung next or lentils. This is all just based on what he has tolerated well in the past...
Good Luck!

I don't think there's any specific bean that's best to try first. My just turned 1 year old has eaten chickpeas (aka garbonzo beans), black beans, great northern beans, and red beans without issues, but every kid is different, of course. He tested high IgE to wheat, peanuts, dairy, eggs, and soy.
