My Dr.'s office called and wants me to get another beta Friday. I would also like to see numbers in the 1000s, finnegansmom, I am only at 203. Let us know how it goes! Your doubling rate looks great though!

My midwife is letting me have another beta on wednesday so the diff will be 5 days from Fridays. I want to see #s above 1000. I need to work on "spazzing down" as my 3 year old says.
LOL... sorry. While I AM moving closer to you next week, North Carolina still isnt THAT close

How far along will you be on Friday? and when was your last one?

On Wednesday, I'll be 5w1d. If my doubling rate was 40 hours and there are 120 hours between Friday and Wednesday, then my HCG should double 3 times....so 750 * 1500 * 3000 * 6000 is what it should be. Hopefully. Unless of course the doubling rate changes....

Dont freak out if its not...

as your numbers go up, they start to double slower. Its normal.

By the time you are in the 1,000s range its normal to double every 3 to 4 days.

By the time you are over 6,000 it takes more than 4 days to double.

Its not really a constant doubling thing... I mean, that would be pretty crazy if it was wouldnt it? Your body would be working really hard once it hit 6,000 to double it to 12,000 in just two days!

Oh I'll be freaking out....let's face it.

at what point of HCG level does morning sickness set in?

I wish they made those monitors like for diabetics where I could pin prick my finger and get an HCG reading at any time of the day.

I will be 6w1d on Friday and hoping to be 1600-1800ish. The last one was this past Friday and was 203, Tuesday was 41.2. Good luck & don't freak out!

MaerynPearl- Thank you for that perspective, that makes a lot of sense.

Umm seriously, right?

My fingers would be nubs from all the pin pricks...

I would also like a home U/S machine. Might as well right? Didn't Tom Cruise rent one when Katie was pregnant...? Of course he has about $400 million more dollars than me but whatever. One can dream....

Will you get the results on Friday? Or have to wait until Monday?

I'm so anxious to get my drawn....I can't wait! I only have one more HPT in the house...I think I'll wait until wed to use it.

Im not completely convinced HCG level has anything to do with morning sickness, tbh... and theres no connection to any certain level of HCG and morning sickness. Some women get it, some dont. Those that do, some get it early, some get it later. Some get it severe, some get it mildly.

I am one of the unfortunate ones that... while it was mild from 4w-8w... from 8w-15w was so bad that I lost a lot of weight!

the first 4 weeks was like... oh I just feel like I overate.

One morning at 8 weeks I woke up, threw up... and took until I was 15 weeks to not be doing that every day. Even at 22 weeks I was still getting sick now and then though!

Friday, thank goodness!! There is no way I could wait all weekend for the results. I also have 1 more HPT that I will be taking this week...I can't help myself. Good luck tomorrow!

I am about 4.5 weeks now and my beta yesterday was 5487. It's a bit higher than expected, but I am hopeful it doesn't mean much. My prog. was 25. I have nothing to compare it to yet and it seems that how much it increases is the important part. Hopfully tomorrow when I get my ultrasound I will be able to get another test.

Are you getting another beta? Maybe your dates are off by a few days?
I think even a few days at this point would make a huge difference in hcg...

Good luck with your US!

I got my results back.

22 DPO = 4975
up from 750 at 17 DPO, and 332 at 15 DPO.

It's a doubling time of 1.8 days which is good I guess, she said at this point it's not worth doing anymore since they are strong and the doubling time will start slowing down...

I feel confident enough that I just bought a bella band!

to everyone still waiting on results!
