I am used to the FAM method, which says that the definition of a thermal shift is when it rises (i think it's 2/10 of a degree) above all the other follicular phase temps. So I was surprised to see that FF gave me crosshairs on CD15.
I know that "ovulation pain" isn't a reliable sign, but I felt pretty intense bloating and uterine pain on CD 16. I would have guessed 16 or maybe even 17 (based on temps) for the ov day.
Anyone know what FF's method is? Are they picking CD 15 just because there was such a big temp rise on CD16 (even though it didn't trump the other temps, it was big because of how far it had to jump?)
I'd love some thoughts! thanks guys.
