So I was grocery shopping today for ds' first birthday
and he started signing 'milk'. He was in the ergo (in the front, like usual at the grocery store so I can make sure he doesn't pull things off the shelves...). He had just eaten before we left so I said, hold on we will be home soon. But then he looked me in the eye signed milk again and started pulling at my shirt ( a v-neck). Again, I said, hold on I'll feed you when we get home. But this time he looked at me again and signed milk, earnestly. So, I pulled down my top, pulled up my boob, and he happily latched on
. This is the same kid that will go all day without eating if we are in public. He usually doesn't eat when we are out. So I'm proud for two reasons: 1. He ate in public and 2. I happily let my boob out to feed my babe (I'm usually VERY modest). Anyways.... Just proud and had to share the story
