If you are using the quote button don't highlight anything. Clicking quote will automagically open a "reply" window with the text of the poster you selected already quoted.
I think MSN is a service provider... but it might be a browser too.. I don't know all this stuff. My browser is Netscape, some people use microsoft IE (Internet Explorer)
At teh very top of my screen there is a thin band of blue and it says
Netscape:Mothering dotcommune forums-reply to topic.
Just under that there is a row that reads, left to right: File Edit View Go Communicator
The first two or three are pretty standard on all browsers. To copy and paste I click on EDIT which opens a drop down menu- with cut, copy, paste and several other things as options. It is only possible to click on them if you have some text already highlighted. You'll get it, I'm sure.. It is just hard to explain, you know?
