Where is the cheddar recipe?

Man, I miss Jello/gelatin. I can totally see breaking down and eating like a whole batch of the stuff if it were in front of me. My mouth is watering just thinking about it....
Gelatin's not as much fun when you don't have the berry flavours though. I suppose I could do cherry juice but that gets expensive... But it might be worth a shot. Maybe the cheap apple-cherry juice would do.
Mmmmm.... Gelatin.
Yep. I think a trip to the grocery store may be in order.
Oh. I'm intending to try my hand at making spinach dal so I bought an extra bunch of spinach. Only one problem now.... I'm out of lentils!
Also, planning to make bean soup. Had ham on Saturday so this will be using the bone and leftovers.

I so meant to say where the recipe was
http://mothering.com/recipes/brown-rice-crackers

What I did before was make a blob of tapioca glue, then mix with ghee and rice flour and nutritional yeast and... I'm forgetting what else. The first batch was the best, then I couldn't recreate them so well.

I'm a total grump today. I think it's from eating blueberry scones at breakfast and garlic bread at dinner. Stinkin carbs

Can I come over? I was thinking it'd be fun to make striped jello cups with dd. coconut milk, juice, herbal tea? Oooh. Veggie juice! Carrot, tomato, lettuce/celery.

I want to be able to eat legumes again. I miss bean soup. Right now they're not enough protein/too much carb, and too many of certain ones give me heartburn. An interesting (to me at least) sidenote - CCK is the hormone that triggers the release of pancreatic enzymes. It's closely related to gastrin, which is the hormone that tells you to release stomach acid, AND to close the esophageal sphincter. And they're both made of peptides. As in, amino acids. Very interesting.

Dd's started kinda stuttering. I'm still trying to figure out if she's doing it on purpose or not. It started just with 'yes' and i thought she was talking as some character, (or maybe copying dh playing) but now it's getting more and more.

hmmmm... not too far off from what I did last night. Maybe I just needed to roll them flatter- they were a little thick for crackers, so they ended up chewy. Will have to try again tonight.

Lois Kam Heymann is the leading authority on Auditory Processing Disorder. You may want to contact her via her website at www.ListenLoveLearn.com. She recently published a book titled "The Sound of Hope" with a foreward by Rosie O'Donnell whose son she helped. You can find the book on Amazon or at Barnes & Noble or Borders. Hope this helps.

I've tried making it twice with the pork gelatin and neither of them worked. I was using grape juice. Obviously it needs more sugar to taste jello-ish. Wish I knew what the ratio was.

I made your 4-bean salad again today. Yum. DH wants to bring some home with him, but I want to keep it all...

I'm really liking these dosas (or is the plural just dosa?). I've put scrambled eggs in them, roasted potatoes in them, sauteed onions, peppers, and mushrooms in them.... mmm... mmm... good. I like the tanginess of them. And I really like the convenience when it's premade, which is not normal for me. And did I tell you that I got marshmallows from allergygrocer.com and now that DS can have small amounts of cane sugar, I can let him have 1-2 once in a while over a campfire... so I don't have to make marshmallows this summer!

Now I want Dosas. I wonder if the Indian store near me would have them.

In Yasko-land, this is high glumates, low gaba, or demyelination after detox (usually corrects in a few days, remyelination supps help - guessing myelinating involves aminos too )

Sorry meant to put this in my last post...messed it up

Anyway this is what I keep doing with DD too and myself. I think in the genetics forum though mamafish was saying to sprinkle it on food, no? DD has been emotional as well. Yesterday after her nap she cried for a hour and I have no idea why and nothing made her happy. This behavior is completely unusual for her so it has to be the enzymes.

Oh crap. I just stepped on a bee. I had flip flop type sandals on and I kicked a clover flower & it got caught in my shoe. Hurts like a mother.

I took some apis & have ice on it. What else can I do? It really hurts. I have histimum & ledum. Might have lavender eo if that would help.

We give with food. No idea why they say give it sooner. We'd never remember to do that .

Oh good.

DD has been just bouncing off the walls today. Could the Pancreas be the culprit? I can't think of anything else it could be. Except GABA, because I've been giving that in the mornings as well, but that's kind of the opposite of what it should be doing, right?
Gaba makes DS bounce off the walls - I have to give it slowly, and give B12 too (the more B12 he gets, the more GABA he tolerates). However, only about 10% of kids react that way. You could always not give it for a day if you want to know if that's the culprit.

It's a very typical reaction to pancreatic enzymes and die off caused by those. (or increased ammonia/glutamates from better protein digestion). Your tricky balance I suspect will be to see if DD can tolerate any other non-protein foods better with the addition of the pancreatic stuff, once you have it worked up to a decent amount. Are you still at sprinkles on that, or more?

Yeah, just sprinkles still. Although I remembered to give it at breakfast and lunch today, and I usually only remember breakfast.

Oh- she's also got some bumps on her arms, kind of like tiny pimples, that I'm assuming are from die-off (or kp, maybe?)??

Guess I'll skip the GABA tomorrow and see how it goes. We've been doing it for over a week now and it hasn't seemed to be causing this problem... but then again I did give some before bedtime last night, and she could.not.go to sleep. (It's still possible that was from my jello binge. ) arg.
DS got all sorts of weird die off reactions - so anything "could" be die off. But could be jello too!
I'm pretty sure it's not the jello (wishful thinking? )... this happens almost every time I try out a new supp it seems. I thought it might be the mag, because I've been doing sprinkles of that in the morning- and I've previously suspected it of causing a crazy reaction like calcium does. But apparently that's not it (or not the only thing anyway), because I skipped that one today and only did the Pancreas and GABA.
