How can I get rid of grubs?

I've got grubs in my garden & I need a way to get rid of them!

Are they actually doing damage? I have some grubs in my garden, too, but they don't seem to harm the veggies. I just toss them on the surface when I dig them up, and let the birdies take them. If they are doing harm, I understand milky spore works well.

Er..that probably isn't a valid way to get rid of grubs

I've heard that beneficial nematodes are supposed to take care of them but I don't know anything beyond that.

Grub Control

There are a ton of different things you can do to get rid of grubs. Start by cutting down on the amount of watering you do and get yourself a pair of aerator sandals. You can also set out a shallow dish with some beer in it. The grubs will crawl in a die. For the best results, though, as others have already mentioned, Milky Spore and beneficial nematodes are the most effective ways to go. If you want a little more info on all of this, look at this page on Grub Control. Lots of info.

Good luck to you.
