whew, from all the reading in my fog brain, i am trying to figure this yeast thing out. I think it may be out of control in me. I have extreme fatigue, headaches, liking it to a hangover. I did have a vaginal yeast infection the beginning of june followed by an extreme fatigue episode. I find after i 'bleed' either spotting in between a/f or my period, the symptoms are worse. Last month i had a blood test done to check my hormones, liver, iron levels, etc and everything was normal.
So i am going to bite the bullet and try as best i can the candida diet starting monday. I was going to try ED, but after researching that a lot of food sensitivities are caused by yeast overgrowth, thought i would start there. I have amalgam fillings, tooks years of tetracycline and ortho tricyclene as a teenager, and i have found my symptoms have worsened since traveling to india in january 2009, i am not sure if that is related, but if i could pinpoint a certain event it would be that, although my symptoms have only gotten dramatically worse in the past 6 months, i did do eat to live diet during my worsening time, but that diet was very low grain, sugar etc, so not seeing the corelation atm.
How has everyones diet gone? Did it help much? Right now I am going to focus on the diet part, I do have some garlic pills i bought when i had the yeast infection and took, i may take and may also pick up some type of pribiotic and vit. c to start with until i can focus better on this...
