If I could interject for a moment....

I suggest staying away from the microscope. There is a lot that you can do without realizing it that could totally sway its results.

If you are going to spend money on something, perhaps a fertility monitor is worth looking into. There are several other moms on here that use or have used the CBEFM and can help you out with any technical stuff with it (like if you get yours used, how to reset it so it is set to YOUR body not someone elses)

Unless you have PCOS or are taking some sort of fertility treatment that should be pretty darn reliable. (and it gives you high readings before peak readings to alert you that peak fertility is on its way!)

Really? I use these too and find them very hard to judge if positive or not, because only the side edge of the test line ever gets as dark as the control line. It's never the whole line that gets really dark...which would be easier to judge.

Does the whole line go dark for you then?

Yeah the whole line usually goes dark but I do find they dry lighter rather then darker..
Also if im not sure its a + I always use a Digi OPK as well, and I never get blaringly + on them either, never darker then the control line only as dark.

I've just looked at the clear blue one and it's a bit much for me at the moment amazon have it at £63.79 not including test sticks.

I was going to get the ovulation microscope because i thought it might save me money in the long run, but if they are no good then i won't bother wasting my money.

looks like FF changed it's mind it's now saying i haven't o'd i haven't, my OPK was slightly darker this morning though still negative.

I would start doing them 2-3 times a day now hun if they get darker..
