Exercising during PG to tone?

I was fairly in shape before finding out I was pg this time. I tried to exercise for awhile, but nausea and exhaustion stopped that. I still do about once a week, but I've seemed to have all my muscle tone turn to jello. I would like to get back in shape and retone my arms and legs and butt. Is this even possible during pregnancy? I haven't run for a few months, would it be ok to start back up? Or would an elliptical trainer be better?

Anyone have good pg exercise DVD recommendations that actually give you a workout? Most are much too easy that I have tried. I was using Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones and may try to do that but modify some of the things until I find a prenatal one similar.

I loved The Perfect Pregnancy Workout for toning, though I normally did just half at a time, since it's long! I found it really relaxing and invigorating, and I used the stretching portions (memorized, not putting the DVD in) like 10x/day to keep comfortable in the 3rd trimester!

I don't know about running, but the elliptical was comfortable for me until the 3rd trimester. Then I switched to walking and (as a reward for the walk) jogging in the pool.

I have that workout and other than the chair dips (Yikes!) it's too easy so far. Thanks, though. Maybe if I just do it more often?

Or use heavier weights for the arm sections? GL!
