pumping...ARGH!!! just a vent.

I have to pump before I go to work, I'm only working part time (like twice a month) so I don't pump very often. DS gets crazy hungry when I'm gone, speeding through 6 ounces from a bottle and then freaking out...I'm only gone 5 hours! I feed him right before I leave, too. So today I was pumping and getting a few ounces, which is a huge deal for me, when I noticed that half of what I pumped leaked all over my shirt! I just feel like it's so hard for me to get any output and to lose any of if makes me crazy to lose even one drop. Stupid breast shields suck, pumping sucks, and leaking sucks.

Thanks for reading...

Hugs! I am so sorry! I never had good pumping output either and that is SO frustrating.

I hear you -- I pump at work for my little one (now 7 months old) and it's frustrating.
One tip for the leaking -- break out the lanolin/lansinoh and coat your nipples and the areola before putting the shields to the breast. This makes a nice seal, and REALLY helps me with leaking. Without lanolin, I make a mess, and I cry over every last drop of lost milk.
