Gardasil and pregnancy

Hi Everyone!

I already had my second shot of Gardasil and the third is scheduled on the 31st of July. Now, after reading a lot of articles in the web on the side effects of Gardasil, I'm really scared now of conceiving. We are planning and excited to have a baby this year.

Do you guys know the truth or know someone that took the shot but was able to have a normal baby?

You dont have to complete the series if you are not comfortable with the potential side effects. They will suggest that you do but you dont have to.

As for conceiving, there is no data available for the safety of ANY vaccine during pregnancy and none have been researched for their affects on fertility.

You may want to ask your doctor when its safe to conceive after recieving the shot.

My third shot was scheduled the month I found out I was pregnant. My MW said to not get the last shot and that I would need to start the series again to complete it.
