(cROSS POSTED FROM THE BSL THREAD)

(As background, I'm doing my first IVF cycle in July, this month is prep month) Do any of you ladies know the deal with Provera? I went to get my B/C pills from the pharmacy today, and the pharmacist said that the RE actually called in 2 prescriptions- Desogen (B/C pills) and Medroxyprogesterone (Provera). Why do you think she prescribed the Provera? The nurse didn't say anything about it on the phone when she told me she was calling in the b/c prescription? Do you all know why that would be prescribed? It says to take for 7 days? Should I hold off until I can talk to her tomorrow? I thought Provera was only used to bring on AF? (I'm CD3 today). Do you think she means for me to use this towards the end of the cycle to bring AF earlier?

Thanks ladies!
