Internet: Broadband..the cheapest?

Hi everyone,

I've just decided that I need to get an internet connection, pretty cheap, and I used TMobile before and it doesn't work where I am currently.

I have a Cricket phone which works well here. So have you used the Cricket Broadband? What was your experience with it? Was it cheaper than others?

Any advice about others?

Thanks!

The cheapest way to get internet is to have a WIRED connection - AT&T is the cheapest I've seen - $19.99 for the slowest DSL speed, which works fine for me.

Wireless internet (NOT to be confused with the wireless network you have set up in your home, usually from a WIRED internet connection) is expensive.

If you don't need cable TV, getting just internet through the cable company (not in a package with cable TV) is usually much more expensive than just getting DSL (NO landline telephone involved) from the phone company, such as AT&T.

What is the phone company in your area? You should give them a call or check their website.
