I am having a new baby next month, and remembering very vividly how wet and gooey those first few months (and beyond!) can be.. I think it might be a good idea to protect the mattress this time.
When I had my girls, I just winged it with towels and wool sweaters, but now I want something more reliable, that can be washed if necessary, that is durable, waterproof, big enough to cover the top half of my double bed, and doesn't give us toxic chemical residues.
What do you suggest? I'm having a hard time finding something like this! But there has to be something out there that works!
