Hello everyone,
After a long hiatus I am returning to mothering.com. I was a senior member and frequently posted in the breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and vaccination forums. I am now divorced and in a new relationship in which we want to have more children so for privacy reasons and also for emotional reasons, I want to start over here. (Just as an example, I have a lot of posts about the end of my marriage...and at one point I made the mistake of posting my real name and it showed up in a Google search...ugh.)
Anyway, my son is 7 and my daughter is 4. My partner does not have children but really wants them. I did not have a natural birth with either of my kids but I really really want to this time and I have a lot of questions about it and a lot to learn so I'm going to start posting on the childbirth boards. Unfortunately I have chronic high blood pressure that is currently controlled with medication so I'm not sure how that is going to work out. We have a local birth center that is fantastic but they don't accept patients with chronic high bp (probably for good reason--as I said, I have a lot to learn).
