your favorite brand of coconut water??

you learn something new every day!! in reading some threads to prepare for my homebirth, i learned of coconut water for labor. sounds great to me!!

just wondering if you have any favorite brands and flavors....would like to skip as much trial and error as possible and just have to buy 3 or so brands to taste!

I like VitaCoco. I tried a different brand and threw it away. Ds loves VitaCoco and he wouldn't drink the other stuff.

I always drink whichever one is cheapest at the chinese market! They all have the same ingredients (coconut water, coconut pulp and some chemical I assume for preservation). I haven't noticed much difference personally. I have loved the stuff forever! The only thing I notice is sometimes the pulp (meat?) is squishier than other times. I have tried to find some that doesn't have the chemical (which I don't know if it's bad really or not) but I haven't found any even at the organic market.

I LOVE VitaCoco! I get the Tangerine flavor and it is SO yummy! FWIW, the VitaCoco has no pulp in it. It's coconut water and tangerine puree, and I *think* that's it. Oh, no, it has ascorbic acid, too. Super yummy. Did I mention it's really good?

I have to fight my DH and 2yo DS away from it. It was on sale at Whole Foods for a while, but now at full price it's not cheap! I like it as a quick, yummy way to boost my electrolytes even now, though. I think I need to buy it in bulk, though!

I've tried two brands and VitaCoco is my favorite too. Good stuff, wish I had it during labor!
