I want to wish everyone good luck! Let me know if you'd like me to add a link to your chart or any other info (age, TTC #, how long TTC) to the roll call.

I also want to extend a special thanks to somegirl99 for sticking around. Your knowledge, support, and advice is invaluable! Maybe I should add a "graduates" section to the first post?

Thanks for the new thread! I like hanging out with you guys.

How is everyone holding up?

I'm at 13dpo and got BFN's on 10dpo and 12dpo. AF is due tomorrow, but I'm still hopeful. I saw many charts on FF where people got negatives at 12dpo then positives later. I'm hoping that's me. In the meantime, I'm going to make some vegan banana bread to take my mind off things.

for you AmandaMom! Banana bread sounds good.

Oooo fingers crossed for you!! It's not over till it's over.

AFM: Still waiting to O! On cycle day 22 or something like that. So I'm guessing this will be another annovulatory cycle. Who know how long it will take for my body to sort itself out while I'm still nursing so much.

Well, this cycle was a bust. I'm making an appointment with my RE to see if there's anything we can do to improve my chances.

Cindy - According to my thermal shift and OPK's, I didn't ovulate until CD25 this last cycle. Maybe there's still a chance for you?

Sorry Amanda! Hugs!

I'm still keeping my hopes up that I could O at any time. We are working on cutting back the nursing to a more reasonable amount, so hopefully that will help!

Sorry Amanda. Let us know how it goes with your RE.

Cindy, hope you O soon, sending fertile vibes your way.

Hello, can I please join you nice vegan ladies?

My hubby and I are TTC our first. This is cycle #2 and I'm waiting to test. I didn't chart this cycle because it was getting too stressful and not fun anymore. I think I ovulated but I'm not sure. If I'm not preggo this time around I will go back to charting but not tell hubby about it!

Looking forward to getting to know all of you

Welcome Birdie! I hope this is your month! If not, how will you temp w/out DH noticing? You could always do OPKs instead of temping.

BTW, I think it was Amanda who mentioned the Vegetarian Mother's Cookbook? I checked it out from the library and have a long list of things to try that I am slowly working my way through. I like it. Simple, hearty, healthy meals.

Welcome Birdie! for you, when are you planning on testing?
Thanks Cindy and SomeGirl99 for the nice welcome!

I think if my moon time hasn't shown up in a week than I will take a test. I have a super short luteal phase and I've never had one longer than 12 or so days.

My hubby is usually sound asleep when I temp in the morning, and we usually talk in passing about what's going on w/ my fertility... I guess too much knowledge was taking away the romance of it. Do any of you have that problem?

I've never used an OPK. Are they easy to use?

My DH knew I was charting but didn't want too many details about it for that particular reason. He also sleeps right through a beeping thermometer.

We were lucky, we first had 4 months of bad timing due to travel or illness, but the 5th month, first time we tried with good timing, things worked out for us. I didn't tell him I was O'ing, just dressed up sexy and seduced him. (I told him later on, after I got the BFP.)

I've never used one either; for me the charting was sufficient. I think it took me a couple of cycles to feel pretty good with the charting.
My thermometer beeps the entire time so it would def wake DH up...except that I temp when the baby wakes us up anyway. OPKs are super easy. You can order a bunch really cheaply online. I use earlypregnacytests.com. You just pee on the stick once/day and if the line gets as dark as the control line, you are about to ovulate.

I don't suppose charting has removed any romance. DH is interested and wants another baby. I also charted for a while before we conceived DD although we weren't actually trying to get prego. We started off charting to avoid and then decided we didn't care...but didn't go out of our way to hit fertile times. Anyway, I think it turned DH on more knowing I was fertile.

Welcome Birdie! I hope your stay is short and sweet. I've found that OPK's are easy to use and a good indication of impending O, especially with my irregular cycles.

Cindy - I'm glad you like the cookbook so far. Every recipe I've tried has been delicious!

Hi ladies! Thanks for the welcome Amanda!

Somegirl, thanks for the suggestions! I think I will give the OPKs a try. I am thinking about getting some vitex for the next cycle but I'm a little unsure if it is vegan or not. Hubby wants to have a baby but I think it is still a lot of pressure and all to TTC. Maybe I ought to try the seduction route...

I did something bad and actually took a pregnancy test last night. Negative However, I am not sure if I ovulated or not because I am having fertile CF again. Stupid me, I shouldn't have taken a month off of charting because now I have no idea what is going on! I guess it's not over until it's over.

Also, I'm going to see if I can get my hands on a copy of the Vegetarian Mother's Cookbook...both hubby and doctor want me to eat a healthy, varied diet.

I finally got a positive OPK yesterday!!! On cycle day 32! I started taking vitex last thursday so perhaps that did the trick? Or maybe it was coincidence? I hope I actually ovulate! We were away visiting family all weekend so I haven't been temping...so don't know if my temp was up today or not. Will try to get back to it tomorrow (as long as baby lets me sleep long enough). Even if I don't get prego this month, I'll just be delighted to know that things are working in there again!!

Cindy - Hooray for positive OPK's!

birdie - Sorry about your BFN. Any sign of AF? I've got my fingers crossed for ya!

No news here. I'm on CD9 and waiting to O. I hope I ovulate before CD25 this time!
Yay Cindy! Where do you get your vitex? (my local health food store did not have any)

Hope you have a good cycle this time around Amanda!

AF showed up yesterday Oh well, on to the next month. At least hubby and I had a chance to talk about *cough* romance & baby-making *cough* that ended up w/ a happy resolution.
