Mucousy poop- wwyd?

My 11 week old has consistantly mucousy poop. I am already cutting out dairy and eggs although last weekend I accidentally ate both!! The wild card is that she was sick with a cold then stomach virus so Ia m not sure if that afected her poop.Also- I tend towards major oversupply but had thought I had that under control with block feeding. When she was sick she eiter didn't gain or actually lost weight. That made me nervous so I stopped doing the block feeding so maybe the mucus is from that?? Ugh.

Anyway- would you change your diet based solely on mucus? No blood or other symptoms

my DD has UNSEEN blood in her stool. i would insist they test it. to really eliminate all dairy and eggs you need to eliminate all forms and sub forms and dont forget even baked forms...also i would eliminate soy and nuts right off the bat. beef after that if it does not improve

research research research lol seriously...good luck

I'd give dairy another week. If that doesn't work I'd pull the top 8 + corn (dairy, gluten, soy, corn, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts). That eliminates the most common IgE (anaphylactic allergies) and IgG food intolerances, while still leaving you a pretty varied, nutritious diet. Keep a food journal of what you eat and what your LOs symptoms are. Check your supplements as well (or post links here and we can help) - they are often hidden sources of dairy, corn, and soy.

Blood didn't appear until later on with DD2. The mucus and green were first.

I'm off the top 8 plus rice and we finally have normal, curdy, brown/yellow, odorific stools!
