recommended training pants (Gerber vs Potty Patty vs Bambino Mio vs?)

hi i am not sure if this is where this question belongs so feel free to move it if i have it in the wrong place.
I was wondering if anyone has a good recommendation for a semi absorbent training pant? I have tried the gerber training pants and i like them but i am hoping for something a little more absorbent to eliminate puddles on our rugs. I was looking at the "potty scotty/patty" trainers and was also wondering if they are the same as the Gerbers. They seem like they may be what i am looking for, but wanted to hear what you all think. or maybe these http://www.diapers.com/Product/Produ...roductId=24337

FYI- My daughter is 14mths and we are just starting to be diaper free now that it is warmer and she definitely lets me know when she is wet.

Thank you

update: just found bright bots any comment on these?

potty patty vs gerber

My daughter started wearing training pants at about that age. I loved the Potty Patty panties. They are thick enough to hold most of a pee (as long as it is not an enormous one). When we first switched from pre-folds to panties - these were perfect. The Gerber ones are fine now - she's 21 months - she almost always tells me before a pee that she needs to go. If a little bit of pee comes out - the Gerbers will hold it - but if it's a major pee miss they get everything wet.

I found that once I started putting her in panties instead of diapers - she was much more likely to tell me she had to pee before she started to pee. She knows she can pee in diapers but not in her panties.

Good luck!

Thanks for your response.
so it sounds like you think the Potty Patty ones are a bit thicker and more absorbent. I was just looking at the snap-ez ones also. Although these are a bit more than i would like to spend.

Okie Dokie brand from JCPenney (formally called Wee Essentials) they are more absorbant than the Gerbers. Sometimes you can find them on really good sales - but they aren't available online. Our favorite trick is wearing 2 of them at the same time for the extra absorbancy.

Thanks for your response. Are these the ones you are talking about?

That's them. We would wash on hot and dry on hot to shrink when dd was little and now for DS, but the 2T's are actually pretty small around the leg anyway.

Thanks! I think i will order some. I am using Gerber right now and they are fine, but i would like something just a bit more absorbent. These sound like a winner
