dp accidentally weedate a bunch of lily buds; how can i capture the scent?

he told me he was sick he accidentally beheaded a lily. i found the buds on top of the compost- they smell HEAVENLY. so i brought them inside and i am wondering what to do. initially thought i would put them in a pot w water and simmer on the stove. dp said put them in my bath. i wondered if i should dry them whole as potpourri or if i could dry and powder them and add to some sort of bath preparation and then i wondered about steeping them in alcohol to try to make some kind of perfume. really dont know what would work or what to do. they are just sitting on the kitchen counter now. any suggestions for a good way to extract and use their intoxicating perfume?

I'd google "making flower essences" or something like that. Seems like alcohol may extract the scent. Good luck!

Putting them in a glass jar completely covered in vodka or SD alcohol, closed and put in the dark a couple weeks could work to make an extract.
