new here...agency questions

hi all:

i'm new here and thought i'd jump in with a question.

we are considering a couple of large agencies for our domestic adoption:
WACAP, Bethany, Wide Horizons for children and Gladney. we are hoping for a biracial or full african american child as we are a mixed race couple.

I was hoping that anyone who may have had any experiences with them (positive or negative) wouldn't mind PM-ing me and sharing them.

I've looked at all 4 agencies at one point or another.

Wide Horizons and WACAP: I only looked at the international programs for both of these, but they are both highly respected programs, and ones I wouldn't hesitate to choose if I were in a position to adopt again.

Bethany: Is strongly Christian, that's an issue for me (since I'm agnostic) but might not be for you.

Gladney: I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. They're strongly against open adoption, something I think needs to be the choice of the people involved, not the agency. They are also have a lot of coercive language on their website in the section where they talk about the home they run for pregnant women. Yuck!
