We're visiting VT, where should we go?

I have a cousin getting married in VT in August (Shrewsbury area) and we need ideas of what else to do while we're there. We will definitely want to visit the Ben and Jerry's factory and the Cabot cheese factory (or is it just a store?). What else is fun and kid friendly (we have a 4 year old and a 10 month old).

There's an aquarium in Burlington on Lake Champlain! That would be fun. Also a kids museum a bit further downstate Norwich, VT. The name escapes me for the mo, but I was just talking about it with my 4 yr old since we're visiting my parents in 2 wks. I'll be back to edit this once I remember. Have fun!!

I think you're talking about the Montshire Museum in Norwich. Definitely worth a trip: it's the best hands-on science museum we've been to. Your 4 year old will have a blash.

Here we go: Montshire Museum. They also have a water park (scientifically minded, of course! ) in the summer. It is incredibly fun there for kids (I remember playing there when *I* was a kid!). Also, VINS in Quechee has some great walks...plus there are birds! Ok, now I want to go to VINS. All this looking up stuff has brought me back. Have fun!

Church St. in Burlington is pedestrian and there's a water fountain at one end that kids play in on hot days. Hanging out by Champlain Lake is fun and there is at least one park on the lake a walk away from Church St.
We'll be up around the same time - if you want to make the drive up to the farm to see the cows you can do that too

Yay, now I'm excited about our trip. These things sound like a lot of fun. Anything water related gets both my kiddos excited, so we'll definitely have to check out the Montshire Museum and possibly Church St.
