how safe are these milk storage bags? is the plastic poisoning my baby with toxins? what do you use?

I use Medela Pump-N-Store bags, though I always pump into a bottle and then pour into a bag. I can't comment on the "safety" since I never bought into the BPA hype. I never microwave the bags, and never even have them above room temperature. Neither of my babies have shown signs of poisoning from drinking the milk that's been stored in the bags, and that's all the scientific study I require for my own peace of mind. YMMV.

I freeze 2-3 oz at a time, flat, and store them in my chest freezer in a gift bag that has a slit cut in the bottom of one side to dispense from.
