How much does O day matter?

So this month is odd. I could be 10 DPO, I could be 11. Depending on which temp I use (I temped twice) for CD 15, FF changes my coverline.

In March I charted with cm only, and it looks like my o day was CD 15 or 16, in April, CD 16, and in May either 14 or 15.

It is driving me nuts right now of course for testing purposes, but anyway, does it matter much in the scheme of things? Like how much will FF adjust my test date and such?

If I'm not pregnant and AF comes, should I adjust it to what makes the most sense after the fact? I think if my lp ends up being 15 days for example, I would adjust my o date to the later day.

As long as you DTD before the O date, in the fertile time, for either O date... 1 day will not make much difference except for either lp length (which would only be off by one day and not a big deal) or when you finally say you got your BFP (which would only be off by one day and not a big deal)

If you are not an obsessive tester I would err on the side of caution and go with the later possible O date though...

If you are an obsessive tester, it doesn't really matter lol.

Obsessive does not even begin to describe...

you want obsessive... i bought 50 ICs this cycle... and had used up 15 in the 3 days between when I got home to my ICs (DF didnt want me packing them for fear of giving away that we were TTC/stressing over it) and getting my bfp...

by the start of my second trimester I had 10 left.

I start third tri in about a week... and none.

Yes, I still tested in my second tri!

i also bought 9 digitals and 2 packs of FRERs.

thats just THIS cycle. Gosh past cycles when I actually went without a BFP was worse!

(this is just SOME of the tests I had used by the day after my BFP - http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5174.jpg so yeah... I totally get obsessive testing! LOL)

the blue dye ones were digitals I tore apart. Dont do that. I just did it because I hate seeing Not-Pregnant so i took the battery out. but the test lines getting darker was intriguing to me.

I think I've made it through almost 25 of my 50 IC's. And 2 FRERs. And then today had the oh so brilliant realization that if I really did ovulate on CD 15 instead of 14, I've been testing more or less non-stop since about 5 or 6 DPO.

I would have started testing then, but I was about 6 hours away from my tests...

by 8dpo though I had had nausea for 3 days, pinching for 2 and pretty possible signs of implantation (pinching/triphasic... though I always go triphasic it was a couple days early) and I convinced DF to buy me a two pack of FRER...

both 9dpo and 10dbo FMU bfns lol... but I didnt finally get a faint faint bfp until 13dpo so yeah...

Well, between getting late + with both my girls and hearing about your 9 and 10 DPO BFN's, I'm hoping tht there is still hope for me this cycle. I'm going to see what the temp does tomorrow. I hope my dh is right, he says he thinks I'm pregnant.
