Doctors in NW Indiana?

I've been thinking about switching doctors and I figured someone here might have a good recommendation. I just need a GP or family doctor. I live in the Valparaiso area but could travel a little- maybe to Portage or Chesterton, or a similar distance. Not too far, because I don't want to have to drive myself very far if I get sick. Any suggestions?

If it helps, I'm a bit afraid of doctors, and I ask a lot of questions. Someone who is patient, kind, caring, warm, and listens well would be great. Thanks!

I have a GREAT doc who totally fits the bill, but it'd be about a 45 minute drive for you. Let me know if you're interested!
