Yep, DD sings everything, and has been for a while. At her part-time school, the teacher calls her their singer and dancer, and she'll sing along even when she doesn't know the words -- she'll kind of mutter and then repeat a few key words a second behind the teacher. She does this in the car, too. It's cute.

Just recently she has been singing her actions.

Omgosh, this is a timely thread! Earlier today my little guy was nursing, and he'd stop, look me in the eye, and belt out, "Cheee-taaa-go! Chee--ta-go!" This went on for about 10 minutes, it was too cute. Finally I asked him, "are you singing Chicago?" He said, "yup."

It's been clear that DS3 has been musically inclined since he was very young. The singing is so much fun! My other two did not sing nearly so much. And it's not like he gets it perfect, but it's adorable. He sings anything he can - Twinkle Twinkle, Veggie Tales theme song, Willy Wonka songs, clean up song he must hear at church, etc. It can be a little annoying when he's singing at the top of his lungs.

We have friends whose DD was walking around singing at about 3yo, and her pitch was amazing! I was stunned! It's not as surprising given that her father is a musician and accomplished singer (as was her aunt) - recorded, and all that. But it was still quite shocking to hear that come from such a little person!

Canaan LOVES to sing. His two favorite songs are George Strait's "Cowboys Like Us" and Jason Aldean's "Big Green Tractor". He knows all of the words to both. He also sings "Old MacDonald", "The Wheels on The Bus" the theme from "Roary the Racing Car" and "The Surrey With the Fringe on Top" from Oklahoma! He likes to change the words to make the song about his pony or his brother, which he does frequently.
