I used total time, including miscarriages, but I subtracted time like where one person posted they were living apart from their partner for 6 months.

Similar situation here, I'm a bit older and am overweight though, I just started my 5th cycle TTC. Why hasn't it happened yet? But trying not to stress out too much about it because they say it can take upto 12 months if there are no fertility problems I think? If it doesn't happen this cycle or during the 6th cycle trying, then I think I will start feeling really discouraged about it and start wondering if something is wrong....

Actually, most fertility specialists wont see you unless youve been TTC for 18 mos solid.

We tried 3 yrs w 1 loss to get our DS. He'll be 1 in a few days and we're halfheartedly TTC ATM. I refuse to avoid after 3 yrs ttc, but actually ttc would require dtd more often than we manage lately.

TTC #1 for 14months and just found out I'm pregnant!

We've been trying for 5 1/2 months, but I've only ovulated twice during that time. My cycles are long and sometimes anovulatory.

We've been "not preventing" since July '09, so about 14 months now. But DD is still nursing frequently, so, IDK.
