Implantion bleeding while breastfeeding

I came in here hoping to get some answers or your experience. However, i do have doctor apt coming up on thursday. The wait is little hard on me

on june 2nd i noticed some light blood as i wipe. I got up and ran to my dh and told him excitely that my period has started. As hours and day went by i relaized it wasn't period. I was spotting. I never had period since i give birth. I took test last night and it was negative. I do have this "feeling' that i could really be pregnant and i think i tested too early.

Anyone here have similar experience or have opinion on this thread. Thanks.

how old is your baby? are you exclusively breastfeeding or does baby eat some solids? Is this your first period postpartum? The first couple of periods postpartum when breastfeeding can be light and unpredictable.

Oh sorry. My baby is almost 10 months old. I just quit the night feeding and yes he is eating some solid.

I never had real period since november 23 2008.

Please someone answer this post. I went many places and found no answers.

The first few periods after birth are often "weird". It's not uncommon to have spotting as the hormones regulate. Although many women do conceive on their first ovulation after birth, it's pretty rare.
I would guess that you are not pregnant, but instead gearing up to bleed. The hormone that is present before menstration is also the pregnancy hormone - that you have pregnancy symtoms before your period is normal (and v. frusterating if you want to be pregnant).
If you don't want to be pregnant, talk to your doc on Thursday about birth control.
If you do want to be pregnant, start taking your prenatal/folic acid today and I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's already happened!
