Thanks for the new thread! Really looking forward to O'ing this week. I upgraded my FF membership and am feeling quite empowered and all that. I have added B6 (250mg) and B100 complex to see if it helps my 9-11 day lp.

I have a question about BD timing. Part of me says do it everyday, just in case, but then part of me says I should time it and NOT BD all the time. What are the arguments for and against NOT BD'ing?

My big, beautiful triphasic high temp chart meant absolutely zip. I am now on CD 3 or 4.

Anyone know how to mark CD1 if AF arrives at 10pm?? And if there is just one small streak of bright red bleeding, but mostly spotting through the night? Usually AF arrives in morning or by lunch, so it's clear when to count it.

Not that it matters that much. I am not not even temping now. I need a break. Not sure if we are taking a month or 3 off TTC yet, like DH and I are discussing doing because it's just not an optimal time to get pg anyway, and I need a break from the stress - or watch me be back once I am post O if there is any kind of chance to be pg! I just can't take the drama sometimes. We are moving this month so stress is getting hairy anyway. I will probably pop on here and there for updates, while we're figuring it out.

In the meantime, it's fine to move me to Waiting to O

Aw, I'm sorry. If it was just spotting other than that one streak, I would mark spotting on that day and AF the next day.

Ahhh don't give me more hope! lol jk....I can't help but have my hopes up...im trying hard not to, im 99% sure im not pregnant, but with no blood I can't help still being hopeful. Your chart is interesting to look at, but you got a BFP on the day after the temp dip, and that is today for me and still getting BFN's (yes I've tested twice today! lol) aghh

If AF is still not here by tomorrow, I will test again with FMU...plz plz plz be

Hi guys. I spent the weekend in the hospital dealing with an abscess, the only good news about all that is that they took my temp every morning :P
I am now on bed rest for a week healing up, and here's hoping I'm healed up in time for my fertile days

Samy, you're killing me that i can't stalk your chart. i definitely don't want to give you false hope, but you really are not out until you see AF. fingers crossed so tight for you!!

Tara! i missed you i was wondering where you'd been. man, your chart had me soo optimistic for you.. and soo sad when it ended.

SML, the only reason to not BD every day is if there is a low sperm count issue. If you don't know if there is or isn't, it's kind of a tough call. I just BD every day. That's what i was doing when we got pregnant with my daughter. you could also do every other day and as long as you have EWCF, the sperm will be caught up in that and will stick around. It's tricky. there's also been recent evidence that you don't want to wait too long because when a man hasn't ejaculated in a while, sperm die off and cause harm to the remaining healthy sperm. In essence, you may want to seek a happy medium. hopefully that doesn't just cause you more confusion!

mommymatsumoto, i have to say that your chart confuses me. it's interesting that your temps didn't seem to go back down in your follicular phase. it makes it really hard to tell when that thermal (ovulation) shift is happening. And yes, you understood that correctly. It's not always true, but theoretically, your LP should be roughly the same length. If you ovulate later than usual, you'll just have a longer cycle. Are you temping at the same time each AM, without moving or talking and always with 3 hours of sleep beforehand? Also, are you nursing?

CLH, you better be getting busy right now! that is a really high temp, especially if drinking doesn't normally do that. Have you ever ovulated this early before? I'd personally trust your chart over the OPK's, but take that with a grain of salt, coming from someone who doesn't use OPK's. oh, and every once in a while, i just won't get any EWCM. in fact, the cycle i got pregnant with my daughter, i hadn't seen any. What i have discovered, though, is that sometimes i'll think i don't have any and then if i check internally, i will have a small amount right near the cervix. I know some methods of charting say to only use the external CF, but sometimes i think there isn't enough to make it to the exterior. And that little bit is enough, it seems, to do the trick. just a thought. Also, did the questionable CF look clear or cloudy? For me, the contribution looks more cloudy and the EW looks quite clear/transparent.

Boring me. CD 4. Got drunk sat night and had a friend and DH take care of ME for a change. It was nice to just not care for a night. DS was at gma's and DD was at a friends for sleepover. I got to sleep in and do nothing the next morning. It was nice. I had a mini pity party, and then continued to drink the mini bottles of wine and a drink that a friends DH made for me that tasted like candy...really, candy..mmmm.

So I'm going to be really busy this week and next with moving and such. So that will help me not worry about O'ing around the 19th. And I plan to also get sloshed around O time...bc I know so many women in my life that have "oopsied" around then and they were drunker than a skunk. So maybe it'll work for me! LOL

Scarletjane - I shall be getting busyyyy tonight! My OH isn't in at the moment, just waiting for him to come home have a shower and then bang! Il ponce! Ha ha .. Oh and yes I ovulated on CD12 last cycle as well so it's pretty normal for me as o is anytime between now and CD16. The questionable cm was clear with a bit of stretch not loads but iv had a little stretchy cm today now as well.

elonwy, welcome back! i'm glad you're doing better. so sorry you had to deal with that. did you have the nurses log into FF and chart your temps for you?

Hehe, that would have been so funny, but I couldn't figure out how to log on with my phone, so I just recorded the temps as a note and then put them in when I got home today
