just when i thought i figured it out. ..

so for the past 4 months, i was on a 30 day cycle. before i got pregnant, i was always on a 28 day due to BC. I stopped BC in Nov 08, then got pregnant in Dec 08. After baby, i decided to not to start BC again since we wanted another one soon. Now all of a sudden, AF arrived 4 days early. We were actually trying at the end of May for #2 and was getting excited to test in a few days. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

The variability can be so frustrating! For me, charting helps a lot, that way I have a pretty good idea what's going on. Good luck this cycle!

thanks! i'll give this "no stress, no test" way for a few months. If no results then, i'll try charting. I just fear that its going to take the fun out of trying.

Charting made it more fun for me... but Im scientifically nerdy like that... I LOVE seeing how awesome it is that my temps really DID change from pre-O to post-O!

(if you want, of course, you can just chart to confirm O and then not chart after its been confirmed. Of course, then you risk missing an actual O date if the first one is wrong but if you are fairly regular I am pretty sure that risk is minimal... This would still allow you to know for certain when AF is due and thus whether or not you are testing prematurely)

MaerynPearl- thats funny!! im so not a math person. did well when it came to charting though in school!!

I guess im just so disappointed because the first one was so easy to conceive. now that its more "planned" its taking a bit more time and what i thought was my new norm, got messed up. ggggrrr.. AF this month just totally threw off was "normal" for the past few months. but the up side is that we like having birthdays when we can throw a bbq at the same time so maybe fall will be my lucky time of the year to conceive! Now i just have to let it go, move on with life and CHILL OUT!!
