Help please! Diarrhea.

I am still nursing my 2 1/2 year old. Besides probiotics, what can I take for diarrhea? I went to after hours care yesterday for an upper resp infection and he said this can cause diarrhea. But I forgot to ask what I can take. My pharmacist is no help.

i was always told to let it "run" its course and just stay well hydrated.

what would you take if you weren't breastfeeding? hopefully someone can do a look up in Hale's for you.

I'd take some immodium if I weren't nursing. And I've been trying to let it run ( ) it's course, but it's been 6 days!!

It's been awhile since I researched, so I don't remember the specifics- but I've taken immodium with a nursing toddler and felt comfortable with it. No side effects and it did the job.
