GMD Workhorse diapers?

Has anyone here tried these? They are such a nice price and I really like the idea of fitteds made out of prefolds, but I can't just buy a few and try them out right away because baby isn't due for a few more months. Would love to just go ahead and pick up a couple dozen of these, but am hesitant since I can't find any reviews of them.

I haven't tried those, but I love their prefolds and have also been really happy with the sposo-easy AIOs that they carry... her descriptions of the various items have been *right on* so i'd trust what she says about them.

I hadn't seen those - they look great, though! We love our GMD prefolds, so I think these are probably good diapers. If we have a second LO I'll need more newborn prefolds - maybe I'll try these instead. I'll be interested to hear how people like them (esp. how well they contain EBF poo...we had quite a few poo leaks and lots of poopy covers during those early months).

I have a few of these diapers and I really like them so far. I have a skinny little girl (Almost 4 months and 11ish pounds) and I've been using the small size on the smallest setting. They hold in bf poop fairly well and the liner they have sewn in makes them quite absorbent. We've had a couple little leaks, but definitely not as much as with prefolds. They're pretty convenient when you're out and about and also are grandparent friendly.

Has anyone else tried these? I have a stash of newborn fitteds that go up to 15 pounds, so I'm looking at the size medium for a babe arriving in November. If you've used them, do you have the snaps or no snap version? I'm guessing snappis work to fasten them, and maybe they make a better fit?

I don't really want to buy a few and try out as the GMD facebook page says some are arriving in a few weeks then they won't get another shipment in until winter, plus it looks like prices will increase. If these dipes are as good as they sound I just want to buy a stash now.

Thanks!

I ended up buying a dozen newborn with no closures (was all they had when I bought) and a dozen yellow with snap closures. They look really well made and like they would hold up well, but I cannot say yet, since baby is still cooking. I do plan to order some more when they become available. I hope I end up liking them as much as I think I will.

DH, on the other hand, is still all about the FB. I can knit cute woolies all day and even though he agrees that they're cute, he still wants a stash of FB, so I don't know if these GMD workhorses will end up being our main stash or not.

I love my workhorse diapes! DD is almost 20 pounds and the rise is getting a little short so it will be time to size up as soon as they are stocked.

Thanks!

Annarose- do you have the snap or no closure version? If you have the snaps, do you find you can get a good enough fit?

i tried a couple these and i really liked them. my only complaint is that they seem like they run a little small in the rise (but i also have a bigger baby). i was able to get a good fit w the snaps.
