New to BF and problems with holds

I am BF my 2 month old baby and am new to BF as I didn't do it very long with my 2 girls. I hold my son cradle style to feed him on the left side and football hold on the right side. That's what I have found comfortable from the beginning so that's what I stuck with. But when I NIP I try to feed him cradle style on both sides to be more discreet but he doesn't like nursing that way on the right side and doesn't feed very well. He doesn't feed great on the left side because he is just in the crook of my arm instead of supported by pillows. How can I hold him when we are NIP so he's more comfortable. I am trying to hold him cradle style more at home but he's not happy with it. anything I can do so I can nurse more discreetly when we are out? My other thought is that maybe he isn't comfortable turning his neck that way to nurse because we are seeing a PT for tight neck muscles on the left side. I feel with my 3rd baby I should know what I am doing but I was already giving formula at 1 month with my first 2 so really trying to feel more comfortable nursing.

I think you have your answer right there! Keep up the therapy, keep working on it and he will get it. I think you can do football hold when you are out with practice. I like to use a bella band or similar to cover my tummy, then you can tuck your shirt around the breast more with out being uncovered as much. And as you continue, it will get easier, you will develop an eye for the best nursing spots, etc. Really, you are doing great! You will get it!
