I was JUST wondering about this! I don't have holes in them yet, but bleach spots, yes. I was staring at a black pair today wondering WHY in the world they were turning pink.

I don't know because I always wear pantyliners. And during this pregnancy,the discharge has been so profuse that I'm wearing super thin Always pads every day. So my undies stay protected and I stay dry. Do I sound like a commercial for Always Infinity?

I can't believe there are pregnant women out there who can get away without wearing some sort of pad. I can't stand the feeling of wet undies!

In my case it's not even that much discharge...nothing more than what usually happens around O time (and I'm EWCM-challenged). It's just that it's so darn acidic! I feel like I should be wearing heavy-duty denim underwear or something.

...and I'm one of those that can't stand pads. I have a crazy-dislike of having something non-underwear down there, or something that shifts/sticks/whatevers. My least favorite part of post-partum? Wearing pads for weeks on end. Bleehhhhhh...gives me the willies just thinking about it.

i once mentioned it to a gynae and she laughed at me, so I've never brought it up again. I thought I was the only strange one.

This happens to me my whole adult life and to be honest was embarrassing. I thought it was just me, so I have never brought it up. I cant believe its not just me!!!!!! Acidic means boys right? In general, the male sperm survive better than female in acidic mucous? That would explain my 5 boys.......

well, I am glad I opened this thread! I am having loads of discharge and I have some darker colored underwear w/suspicious looking bleach-like marks all in the same place. I couldn't figure it out. Makes sense now. I have never had this happen before, and I have had 4 girls, BUT I am carrying twins this time, so maybe two girls in there??? (it's a surprise!)
