my 9 month and i just moved to south korea to b with my husband while he is stationed here. we haven't got all his toys yet and him and i are at a battle everyday b/c im trying to get things done and he is trying to cling to my leg... or destroy something...im guessing this is due to boredom b/c when we visit other kids he is happy with all the toys.. r there any activies that i can do with not many toys right now or things that might keep him entertained alone while i try to get things done.

thnx

How about toys like spoons, pots and pans, your clothes (DD loves to empty my drawers and "help" with laundry.) Use everyday household items. Also, it will take three times as long to get things done with a little helper.

You could also try doing a back carry, if you have a baby carrier. That's what I call my Sanity Saver, when I need a cup of coffee and DD is getting relentless.

Enjoy Korea. My husband and I met there in Seoul when we were both stationed there.

I agree with PP. Also, basically anything that is new to him is a fabulous toy for DS--at least for about 5-10 minutes. He also around that age loved to tear up magazines, paper napkins, etc. It is a little bit annoying to clean up, but it would keep him occupied for a good while. A pile of cheerios also keeps him occupied for a while.
