picture next to name?

how did some of you get pics next to your names over here?

You go to your User CP and then click on the Edit Avatar option. I'm not sure if there are restrictions on who can have an avatar but for me it allows me to either upload an image or use one off the web (has to meet certain size restrictions).

You need to be a supporting member before you can have an avatar. Membership isn't terribly expensive.

And its worth it to help keep mothering going. (Yeah, they have a magazine, but its not exactly a huge moneymaker for them)

Plus, certain supporting memberships give you a subscription to the magazine
