shes always trying to beat me or be better than me in some way and i just live my life lol...

I have a (step)SIL like that. It's really frustrating. I have no idea why she thinks there's some kind of contest happening. She's not quite so attacking as your XSIL, more passive-aggressive in person/putting me down behind my back. Thankfully my MIL won't put up w/ her crap and I only have to see her for a few hours once a year or so.

This Christmas she was going on and on about how her DS was "already off the bottle" (he was around 11 mos) and wanted to know when DD had given up the bottle. She was annoyed to hear that dd never took a bottle. As if using or not using a bottle at X age makes you a better mom?

people are weird when it comes to bottles. someone said to me why dont you just start pumping all of her milk? i was like why would i do that? that would be so inconvienient.

we were on WIC too (now i cant have anything they provide due to intolerances) and my x SIL was like oh you should tell them your on formula so you can start stocking up on it for later (dd was 3m/o) and i said oh shes never drinking formula...x-sil and x-mil were in shock and x-sil was like yeah ok just wait till she teething.
i dont think i could ever wean her it would be too hard lol oh yeah you cant have milk anymore take this plastic bottle and drink this stuff that doesnt even taste the same and do it all by yourself so mommy doesnt have to deal with feeding you. come on she would be hysterical. her dad thought i was bonkers when i told him im BFing till whatever age she chooses like even 3 y/o...but now that he sees how it realy is and i showed him info on it hes totally for it...not that i would need him to be lol


thats nuts that she was bragging about giving up the bottle! babies even need formula till 12 m/o
