Moms of 3+, is it normal to be this uncomfortable in the end?

From what I remember I felt totally fine with my first two, right up to the end of the pregnancies.

This time I've been having pelvic pain, especially after sitting for too long, since 38 weeks. That was also right around the time the baby dropped lower.

Is this normal to have more discomforts because my body's been through this twice before? I'm in my late 20s.

Just wondering (as I wait...).

I'm more uncomfortable this time around. I'm also blaming it on age and well as # of pregnancies - I'm 34

This is #3, and I notice a lot more round ligament pain, back pain, and hip discomfort. BUT, on the flip side, I don't have NEAR the problems with heart burn that I had with the first 2.

Ha, I just started another thread about how I am SO ready to be done (this is my third pregnancy as well). I am at 36 weeks now, and I desperately want to pop this kid out!

This time is WAY more uncomfortable for me than my other pregnancies. EVERYTHING hurts, and I feel like such a whiner. Fortunately, my husband is nice about putting up with my whining, helping out extra around the house, and giving me back rubs whenever I demand...I mean...politely request...them.

I just keep trying to remind myself that I'm not going to be pregnant forever, even though it feels like that!

Hang in there....

This is my 3rd and it is a lot different. The weird thing is I don't feel as huge as I did with the other 2 but I am way more uncomfortable. I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. I have sciatica that is driving me nuts. I hate even moving because of it. But I don't have the constant rib pain that I had with the first 2. This pregnancy has just been totally different all the way around. I'm trying to be zen about it but honestly, this little one is welcome to come NOW! LOL Hang in there.

As far as pressure goes, I think multiple births can add to that--partly because your body is looser down there and also has done this before...

I'm p with my 4th and I am carrying him super low and my pelvic structure feels it. I felt like this with my 3rd as well, but not this soon (28 wks). FWIW, 3rd babe was also my biggest babe and engaged earlier than the rest. I can see this babe following in his sibling's footsteps.

My back feels pregnancy more as well as the hips. I think it's fairly normal, lol. Not that an adjustment wouldn't hurt...

This is #3 and my most uncomfortable pregnancy so far. Pelvic pain since week 18. The worst heartburn/acid reflex ever. Lots more weight gain, swelling, sweating etc. I've always enjoyed the last few weeks of pregnancy but I cannot wait to have this baby....even though it will probably be our last

With number three I did seem more uncomfortable at the end, I think it has to do with everything being kind of stretched out already, like your body doesn't seem to support your growing belly as well. I was actually a lot thinner with dd3 than my other two, but that didn't seem to help much with the pain at the end.

Same here. I think being two years older each time plus having another little one to watch after each time has really taken its toll on my body.

I'm going with "Yes." My third pregnancy was miserable. My fourth, challenging, but not as bad. I'm hoping that I'm too busy to hurt this time.

I'll vote yes even though I am just 20 weeks. Much more round ligament pain and so forth this time around with #3.

Yes, definitely more uncomfortable with this one (my fourth pregnancy, 30 weeks, I'm 29). Pelvic pain is worse, as is the muscle support for my growing stomach. Plus I don't have the time or energy with three other kids to work out and take care of myself like I did with earlier pregnancies.

I was mega uncomfortable at around 6 months, thankfully the pain in my hips (I was seriously misaligned) and pelvic region have been managed by a really great chiro so I'm doing better these pregnancies, but I still get stiff if sitting in certain positions and certainly when sleeping unsupported.
