Brag on your new baby?

Now that most of us are past the pregnancy, and moving on from the birth, I thought it was time to brag on and tell about our babies!

This is girl #3 for me. She was an inch+ longer than my other two. So while they were all close to the same weight (she was 8lb7oz), she seems so long and lanky. Her toes are crazy long and her sisters have painted her toenails red. She was super long fingers too. My first two were nearly bald at birth, but El has lots of dark hair (like me!). She also is the first to have my skin tone. She is so laid back. My first DD was SO high needs and poor sleeper. My second had horrid reflux and needed to eat 24/7 and still sleeps cruddy. This girl is SOOOO laid back. Will go hours without nursing, sleeps as long as I let her, will nurse great when offered though, so it gaining great. She has 2-3 awake periods a day now (she is 16 days) and will just stare around, perfectly content, for a couple hours each time. She has yet to cry hysterically a single time since birth. She loves to cuddle on people. Is happy in a sling. Runs super hot and makes me sweat when holding her. She hates the carseat and her only little fusses are when strapped in. Oddly, when she is in the bucket and it is attached in the double jogger, she is happy to roll, just not in car.

she is a great one!

Did you officially name your baby? I keep looking to see but missed the post, maybe? I have no idea why but I am determined to see what you named your new little sweet pea. she sounds so great!

I am madly in love with Quiet Wyatt I'm not sure I have enough room or time to gush about him He's a total lovebug who is VERY into his mama. At seven weeks he quiets only for me and is only totally contented while I'm around. given that DD is extremely attached to her papa this is a nice feeling.

He is already 13 lbs which is a marvel to me. His sister gained weight so sloooooooowly that this is a true blessing; i do not worry at all about his weight. he also does not have gerd which is such a relief too. he has only spit up about five times--yay!!!!

he sleeps through the night and only cries when he's hungry. there have been moments when i have totally panicked b/c i all the sudden realize that i have forgotten that i have a baby and i do not know where he is---aieee!

my favorite favorite thing is that every morning i wake up to his little face propped up on one of my breasts with the sweetest smile on his face. pure joyous love

I don't think I did! We went with Ellisen. My 2yp calls her Ellie, I tends to go with El, DH goes with Ellie...which is funny because the name that we started with that we loved was Ellis, which none of us call her, lol.

And I totally hear you about sometimes forgetting you have em...El is so good that I occasionally have the Where Is My Baby panic attack! I prayyyyyyy it lasts! My 2yo is so challenging that I really am due for a chill babe.
