I have a tooth on which the enamel never properly formed and have had various caps/crowns on it since my teen years. 10 years ago I had to have a root canal on it and a replacement crown. That root canal left very little actual tooth and I was told that the crown may not stay on. So far, the crown has been fine but now I'm having pain again. I've been doing raw garlic and oil of oregano for infection but it's getting annoying/painful enough that I made an appt for Tuesday. It's causing an earache and sinus pain also.

I'm worried that another root canal will be suggested and/or I'll end up getting the tooth pulled since there's not much left to adhere a crown to. We really can't afford major dental work and I'm not really enthused about having a tooth pulled. I'm only 35.

Are there any natural remedies that I can try to clear up the infection and not have such drastic action?

TIA!
