What do your baby's gums look like?

Is this normal? I thought I remembered DD1 and other babies having smooth gums straight across the top, but DD2's have some kind of dip/point thing going on that the lip is attached to. It doesn't mess with her nursing at all or cause any problems.

I had the hardest time getting a photo of it!

I just looked in anna's mouth and it looks like that, only pinker and the bump in the middle just isn't as pronounced.

Thanks, I feel better!

Ada's gums are normally pinker too...I think it turned white from where I was pulling her lip up for 5 minutes trying to get a picture.

L's stick down a bit more to the sides of that indentation in the middle. We actually commented on it right after she was born, because my friend's son had the flatter, smoother version when he was an infant.

My daughter had that. Her baby teeth had a space between them ( I think because if it. She's 7 now and has her new teeth and that thing is gone. The new teeth came in beautifully and filled it all out.
I do miss those cute little teeth with the space though.
