One evil note of foreboding, though - check up on all immigration matters before your husband accepts any positions! Immigration is expensive, takes time to plan, and is a total pain. If I were you, I'd go ahead and get the ball rolling on UK citizenship for yourself (which, under certain circumstances, may mean that your kids will be eligible as well, but not necessarily), and do homework on how to go about getting visas for your family and how much they'll cost.

But that's just the legal stuff. Good luck! I hope you're soon over here, spending your days writing and loving life!
Exactly! Even when you are eligible for citizenship, it can take some time to actually get those papers in hand. I'm excited for you; you'll have to keep us updated as to any future traveling plans. Although, as I said, I've finally figured out the Island is home, I am a basically a wanderer at heart, and hearing about your plans makes me a little envious -- but I'm OK with living vicariously Good luck with wherever life leads you!

Moving to new places can be hard, but you know what, it can lead to greater things in life. Move to England and let your new life begin.

I live in leafy hampshire and London is about 35 minutes away on the fast train. My dh goes all the time.
