Bumping this to report that Cecilia rolled over today!

She was having a crappy morning after waking up about halfway through her usual morning nap. I was taking her to places in the house that she doesn't normally hang out in, for a change of pace (she gets bored with the living room, I swear!) Anyway, I put her in the crib, and we were messing around in there, with me peeking through the bars at her and generally being goofy. I put her on her stomach just for the hell of it-- this is the girl who screams bloody murder at tummy time-- and she rolled right over! She did it a few more times, so I got the phone and video'd it on my husband's request. My 9.5 week old is a big girl! :

Wow! My second son didn't roll over until he was 9 months old. Plenty of tummy time--he just does things in his own time.

We've been working on tummy time. My dd (3 1/2 months) hates it, but the more she does it the less she hates it. She's rolling now too, so she just rolls over when I put her on her tummy. At least she's getting that down. It depends a lot on her mood. If she's at all tired she won't go for it. She has to be happy, awake and engaged at all times or she just cries and lays there. Mostly she's pushing up and rolling over now. Still hasn't rolled from back to front but will roll onto her sides and seemed to have mastered the front to back yesterday. She did it 4 times, 3 of which were in a row. I'm so proud!

Congratulations!
This morning I was thinking about that rolling over thing - my DD was born 03/26, she is 11 weeks now, hates tummy time too and no attempt to roll over. Now, after reading this thread I am not so worried.
Thank you for sharing the video, It's great!

My son hated being on his tummy until one day when he was 4 months. It was sudden. One day he was happy on his back, then the next day he wanted to be on his tummy. By the time he was 5 months he could roll to his tummy, then at 5.5 months he rolled to his back.
